Beacon Royal Arch Chapter No 4362

The Holy Royal Arch is a continuation of Craft Freemasonry with its members known as Companions and its meeting places known as Chapters. It is considered to be the completion of pure ancient masonry and is open to all Master Masons of one month standing or longer.

The Craft gives each member eminently practical rules by which to live his life in the service of his God and the community. The Royal Arch addresses the spiritual aspect of mans nature and the candidate is led to contemplate the nature of his God and his own relationship with Him. Like Craft Masonry the Royal Arch is open to men of all faiths.

Thus the Royal Arch leads the candidate from the practical to the spiritual and completes “pure ancient masonry”, a fascinating journey of self knowledge and self discovery emphasised by elaborate and colourful ceremonies along the way.

Beacon Chapter No 4362, consecrated on 20th May 1960, meets at the Masonic Hall, Pocklington on the third Tuesday in January, May, September and November. If you seek further information please contact the Chapter Scribe Ezra by email
